Tasting notes
| Clear medium gold - quite striking! Green apples, citrus but also slight toffee apple. A touch of sherry-like reduction, definitely evolving from the freshness it had when younger. A hint of nuttiness too. Palate is losing its fruit but still has a bit of creaminess which offsets nicely against the medium acid. A little waxiness creeping in. Long persistent finish. Good but it's definitely time to drink the rest of these. |
