Tasting notes
| Clear pale green-gold. Medium intensity nose, started off with lemon pith and candle wax and then as the wine warmed up it developed notes of hay and fresh thyme. Medium(+) palate with lots of citrus, sweet lemon, and a slightly confected note a bit like a green midget gem sweet. Slightly honeyed but a little more austere and less creamy than I remember previous vintages being. Nice finish with the lemon and waxiness persisting. |
