Tasting notes
| Clear very pale ruby. Crunchy red fruit on the nose, cranberries, red cherries, very tart. Some farmyard funkiness and bit of pickled onion sharpness too. Palate much smoother and less abrasive than expected from the nose, kirsch, red apples, black forest gateau. Medium dusty tannins, medium(+) acid. Finish fades fairly quickly but nicely balanced throughout. |
