| Clear medium ruby fading to garnet. Medium nose, quite a lot of obvious alcohol, dark cherry, blackberries, liquorice, leather, something a little savoury. Palate is medium bodied, alcohol very present, brambles, blackberries, plums. Medium(-) acid and some dusty tannin, nicely integrated though. Reasonable balance but alcohol a bit prominent. |
