Tasting notes
| This opens with intense stone fruits, peaches, apricots and mangoes, with lovely floral notes in the background. As you sip it you taste candyfloss and honey, and I found myself thinking “here we go, it’s going to be a sickly sticky Sauternes” except suddenly it’s not, it’s creamy and luscious and takes you completely by surprise. It finishes with butterscotch and marmalade and ginger, and stays with you for a very long time. An utter delight. |
