Tasting notes
| Clear medium(-) gold. Soft nose, fresh mandarins and peaches, pastry, frangipane, a little sweet spice. Palate has lemon peel and butterscotch notes too, restrained and subtle but very classy. Round, fleshy, creamy. Very nice balance and elegance. Expected more oakiness. Maybe just starting to oxidise - but definitely not unpleasant. Medium(-) acid but not flabby. Long persistent finish. |
