Tasting notes
| Clear pale ruby. Medium nose, strawberries, glacé cherries, slightly medicinal - cough mixture? A hint of tertiary leather and white mushroom. Palate has a good hit of strawberry and raspberry, also a slightly sour note but one which works well. Feels a bit hot even at 13%, perhaps a little light and pretty to carry off the alcohol. Medium(+) acidity, quite mouth watering, some slightly dusty tannins. Long finish with fruit persisting. |
